Pressure cooker/Instant Pot Pinto Beans

Ingredients:
1 1/2-2 cups of kidney, pinto and/or black beans
1/2 medium to large onion
1-2 minced garlic
Salt of choice to taste
Pour desired beans into large bowl, fill bowl with water to soak. Let soak for 2-3 hours or overnight is best(once you see the water soaked up. Soaking helps make sure the beans cleaned and also helps the beans to cook quicker).
Once soaked, rinse in strainer and pour into instant pot/pressure cooker. Place onion and garlic into pot. Fill pot with 4-6 cups of water. Cook on high/manual setting for 30 minutes, if soaked and 40-45 minutes, if not soaked. Once timer sounds off, pressure release and serve as desired.
If not cooked completely, cook on high/manual setting for another 5-10 minutes. Once timer sounds off, pressure release and serve as desired.
