Chicken using slow cooker or instant pot

Chicken(optional)1-1 ½ LB Chicken thighs (I use hormone free, free range)

½ medium-large sliced onion

2 minced garlic cloves

1 cup water (Alkaline recommended)

Slow Cooker/crock pot:

Layer onions, chicken and garlic into crock pot then add water and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours. Turn off once cooked completely. Remove chicken and shred/cube and save broth for rice or beans(optional)

Pressure Cooker/Instant Pot

Layer onions, chicken and garlic evenly into pot then add 1 cup of water.  Cook on high/manual setting for 10 minutes, if thawed and 15 minutes, if frozen.  Pressure release once timer sounds off. Remove chicken, shred/cube and save broth for rice or beans(optional)
