Homemade chili using pressure cooker 

Homemade chili made from start to finish in about an hour, thanks to my pressure cooker. 1 pound of ground chicken, turkey, beef (optional)

1 1/2 cup of soaked and drained pinto beans

1 1/2 cup of soaked and drained kidney beans

1 diced onion

3 minced garlic

1 diced bell pepper

2 diced tomatoes

Salt and pepper to taste Place meat into pressure cooker with 1/4 cup of water. Close and seal lid. Cook on high for 10 minutes, release pressure and open. Mix meat then add beans with 5 cups of water and onions. Close and seal lid. Cook on high for 30 minutes. Release pressure, mix, close and seal lid. Cook for another 10 minutes on high and release pressure. Add in bell peppers and tomatoes and cook for another 5 minutes on high. Pressure release and open cooker. Salt and pepper to taste. Optional to Serve with a baked potato, cornbread or tortilla chips and top with grated cheese Enjoy! Please share and tag me, if you like this recipe.
